The museum is one of the most important preserved Ottoman buildings in Molyvos, it is owned by the Municipality and is listed as a protected monument by the Ministry of Culture. The baths were public and shared by men and women on alternate days or at different hours and were directly connected to the Ottoman daily and religious life.
The baths stopped working in the 1960s.

Simply ask for directions to the Post Office.
The museum is 30 metres down on the opposite side of the Agora.

The museum is staffed by volunteers at the following times
Tuesday 18:00 – 20:00
Thursday 18:00 – 20:00
Friday 10:00 – 16:00
Saturday 10:00 – 16:00 and 18:00 – 20:00
The museum might be open at other times for exhibitions.

please send us an email at least 48 hours in advance.
The museum is sometimes host to music recitals, art exhibitions, or other events.
There are currently no special events.
